Clinical Expertise

Dr. Jesse D. Kosiba specializes in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on exposure-based treatments. His therapeutic approach is built on thoughtful collaboration as a foundation for meaningful and lasting change. Dr. Kosiba’s research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at international conferences on topics related to anxiety, substance use, and behavioral medicine. He is a staff psychologist with the Signature Addiction Recovery Programs at McLean Hospital and the Pavilion.

Training

Dr. Kosiba earned his MS and PhD in clinical psychology from Syracuse University.  He completed his predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kosiba has received state-of-the-art training in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioral medicine. Dr. Kosiba has worked in numerous programs at McLean Hospital providing psychotherapy to individuals with an array of mental health conditions and substance use problems.
