Online Group Therapy

At Cambridge Psychology Group, we value group therapy. We believe that it can be an essential part of treatment, yet it is often hard to find trusted groups that match your needs. Our practice offers several groups with rolling admissions and continues to develop our group therapy program periodically, ensuring we offer evidence-based and compassionate care within a supportive community.

What We Offer

Currently, we have several therapy groups at CPG. We periodically add new groups at the beginning of a season based on clinicians’ expertise and availability. In our groups, we emphasize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Sessions blend therapy skills with group discussions and experiential exercises to help you apply what is learned to real life. The groups aim to foster a caring and inclusive community centered around compassion and understanding. Within our community, peers can support each other, learn from one another, and grow together.

Our Group Leaders

Our group sessions are led by psychologists and social workers, most of whom have trained at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Our group leaders are experts in their fields and are passionate about their chosen topics.

It is designed for adults who want to build lives filled with meaning, joy, and connection. The content will be based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and will involve a combination of didactics, discussion, and practice. Each 12-week cycle will teach a set of DBT skills. Group members may continue through as many cycles as they wish. This group is appropriate both for beginners of DBT and also for those experienced with DBT who want to refresh their knowledge. The group could also be a supplement for those already working with a DBT therapist. Please note that this group would not be appropriate for those in need of the full DBT program.
