She works collaboratively with her patients to explore and understand experiences and stressors that may be tied to their unique identities and how therapy can best be tailored to address their unique needs.
Training
Dr. Feigon earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at Emory University, where her graduate research focused on understanding the genetic and environmental underpinnings of anxiety and depressive symptoms in children and adolescents. Her internship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston included a 6-month elective in an anxiety disorders specialty clinic that served patients with anxiety disorders, traumatic stress, and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. Her postdoctoral fellowship in the Emory University Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program allowed her to gain additional experience delivering CBT for social anxiety disorder in a group format.
Prior to joining CPG, Dr. Feigon served as staff psychologist at the Emory University Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program and later at UMass Memorial Medical Center, where she developed and ran group programs for social anxiety disorder, other anxiety disorders, and depression.
